Girls Who Code Teen

Explore the exciting world of artificial intelligence, graphics, game design, cryptography, and mobile development! Learn how to identify basic programming concepts through Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript with Girls Who Code, a national non-profit organization seeking to inspire, educate, and equip girls and boys with computing skills. Space and supplies are limited, registration required with Ms. Crystal at the St. Cloud Library. Only four laptops will be made available, please bring your own if you have one. Snacks will be provided.

American Sign Language for Beginners

A beginner course in American Sign Language presented by ASL Services. Acquire the basics useful in communicating with Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in your community. These ASL classes are taught by Deaf instructors; students will learn to carry on an everyday conversation with Deaf individuals. Role playing and games designed to teach basic signs are used as tools. By the end of class some of the skills you will learn are: manual alphabet, numbers, introducing yourself, facial expressions, talking about family, and more. Registration required.
