Namaste! StorYoga

Children of all ages can benefit from a little stretching, breathing, and movement. Yoga poses are easily modified to meet any needs or limitations people may have. Anything you can do to tie fitness to an engaging story in some way is always beneficial. Participants should wear comfy, stretchy clothes and bring your own mat or towel.

UCF Card Training: Preventing Challenging Behavior (Part II)

(This is a 2 Part Series. Participants must attend Behavior Basics Parts 1 and 2) This presentation (Part 2) will review participants Part 1 home assignment, and present how to look at problem behaviors from a functional, behavioral perspective using principles of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). Videos demonstrating behaviors will be shown for learning how to identify functions for behaviors. The concepts of functional assessment and strategies for reducing and replacing behavior will be discussed. Unfortunately, childcare is NOT available at this presentation.
