The Friends groups of the Osceola Library System are 501(c)(3) organizations, comprised of citizens of this county who are interested and concerned with promoting the services of the Osceola Library system.

Friends of the Library of Osceola County

The Osceola Friends is a 501(c)(3) organization. Membership consists of citizens interested and concerned with promoting the services of the Osceola Library System. Membership dues is $5.00 yearly (January to December). Larger donations are accepted. Anyone interested in being an active or supportive member, please send your check to:

The Board meets monthly, the second Tuesday,at 11:00 AM at the Hart Memorial Library, EXCEPT, September, December, March, June, when we will meet an hour before the LAB meetings at 5:00 PM.

Poinciana Friends of the Library

The Poinciana Friends meets the third Tuesday (September to May) at 2:00 PM at the Poinciana Branch Library. In lieu of meetings in January and May, we do lunch. Membership is open to residents of Poinciana and surrounding communities. Yearly dues start at $5.00, with larger donations gladly accepted. We now have "green" reusable bags available for a nominal donation. Since 1998 we have gifted, provided refreshments, etc. to our library. New active and supporting members are always welcome.

West Osceola Friends of The Library

West Osceola Friends of the Library, Inc. (WOFOL) is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization incorporated in April 2004, Registration Number: CH17598. The goal of WOFOL is to support the development of enhanced library services to the western side of Osceola County. The mission of this group is also to support literacy and volunteerism. The West Osceola Friends of the Library, Inc., serves the West Osceola area.

The Board meets quarterly. Membership is yearly. We have been able since 2004 to establish a yearly scholarship for a senior at Celebration High School showing out-standing English and literature skills with an interest in library science.
