Homeschool Book Club

Age Group: K-5

Connect literacy to STEAM! Kids of all ages will read the Spiderwick Chronicles series and report back to do experiments, activities, and crafts that bring the books to life. All activities are meant to enhance the reading of the  Spiderwick Chronicles while also teaching different concepts and skills. Those who choose not to read the books are still invited to partake in the activities.

After School Special: Musical Instruments in Your Kitchen

Age Group: K-5, Tween

Each week kids are engaged with exciting activities that run the gamut from science and math to engineering and yoga. Every week is something new, but it's guaranteed fun! Do your pots and pans make music? Discover how you can take various items you already have in your home and turn them into percussion instruments! This tangible workshop features a class art project that you can take home with you. Presented by Central Florida Community Arts.
