Severe Weather Awareness Week ContestCalling all artists in grades K-5!

Draw, paint, or digitally create an original work of art illustrating what you would do to prepare for Florida's sometimes severe weather. Include a written safety message in your art to help teach others about severe weather safety and preparedness. The winner will be recognized by the Osceola Board of County Commissioners, and their artwork will be shared across the County!

This year's contest runs from January 1 - 30.

Choose one of these categories of severe weather for your submission:

  • Lightning
  • Marine Hazards and Rip Currents
  • Thunderstorms and Tornadoes
  • Hurricanes and Flooding
  • Extreme Temperatures
  • Wildfires
