The Superhero Comic in Real-Time

Want to learn about the magic of comic book creation? Hart Memorial Library will be hosting a special after-hours event with legendary Marvel artist Jerry DeCaire, who has worked on Deadpool and Wolverine comics!

The event will take place from 6:15pm-9pm, Friday, September 12.

Known for bringing iconic superheroes to life, Jerry DeCaire delivers an electrifying, behind-the-scenes drawing performance showcasing how a comic book is crafted from concept to final illustration. Watch the action unfold as he sketches live —then enter for a chance to win one of his signed, dated demo drawings in an exclusive raffle!

The evening will also feature a variety of superhero-themed activities hosted by library staff, perfect for families and young fans. Don’t forget to bring your library card, or sign up for one on the spot, and explore our extensive collection of graphic novels, comics, manga, superhero movies, and more!

Proudly sponsored by the Osceola Friends of the Library.
