Kids & Teens

Spooky Spectacular
It’s officially spooky season and the Osceola Library System has the perfect family outing filled with ghostly games, creepy crafts, and eerie adventures! Be sure to come in costume for tricks and treats!

Disney Goes Behind the Seams

Discover how Disney magic is stitched together! Meet real Disney cast members and explore how sewing skills can lead to creative careers behind the scenes in costuming, design, and live entertainment.
Light Up Diyas for Diwali
4:30pm, Monday, October 20 at the Poinciana Library
Discover the magic of simple circuits by creating a beautiful, Diwali-themed card that lights up with an LED diya! Along the way, we’ll explore the cultural importance of diyas and learn how Diwali—the Festival of Lights—is celebrated across the globe.
Adults
Looking for something interesting to do? The Library has you covered with free programs for adults. Whether you’re into learning new things or just meeting new people, there’s always something going on. Check the online calendar and drop in for some grown-up fun at the library!
Kissimmee Ghost Tour
5:30pm-8pm, Thursday, October 18 at the Hart Memorial Library
Prepare for spooks and frights as you learn about Historic Downtown Kissimmee. This hair-raising walking tour will surely get you into the Halloween spirit! Tour will begin at Hart Memorial Library. Groups of 10-15 will depart every 15 minutes. Presented by Osceola History. Registration required.
Florida Author Fest
10am, Saturday, October 25 at the St. Cloud Library
Engage with creative and accomplished authors at the Florida Author Fest! Meet with local bestselling authors, purchase books, and get them signed on the spot!
11am: Don’t miss a special “Storytime with Sami” featuring a reading of the newly published book The Adventures of Sami the Sandhill Crane!
