Maker’s Café: Sand Art Terrarium – Saturday, May 11 at 12pm

  • Create a mini terrarium that is sand-sational! Supplies provided.

Sewing 101 – Saturday, May 11 at 2pm

  • Master the basic techniques of sewing while creating fun, everyday projects! Supplies provided. Presented by Vickie Lisec and the Sunshine Sewlutions neighborhood group of the American Sewing Guild, Orlando Chapter. Registration Required. Class is held in the Sewing Lab at TechCentral.

Sewing 101: Simple Alterations – Friday, May 10 at 10:30am

  • Master the basic techniques of sewing! Bring garments needing mending to learn how to shorten the length of jeans, skirts, dresses, or shirt sleeves. Registration required.

Maker’s Café: Origami Ornaments – Saturday, May 25 at 2pm

  • Explore the fascinating history of Origami while learning the basics of paper folding art dating back to the 2nd Century. Supplies provided. This program is in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

  • Grab your machines and get sewing! Join other local enthusiasts to create beautiful, handmade projects.

Crafty Crew – Monday, May 20 at 1pm

  • Calling all crafters! For those who love to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, quilt, scrapbook, or any other portable craft, gather your supplies! This is a space to learn, share ideas, and create while in the company of others who share a passion for homemade projects. All skill levels are welcome.

West Osceola Library
